  • If you see a citizen of ANY country commit a crime based on that governments rules, you would expect that person to be put away in the incarceration system that any given country employs. There is no rehabilitation system that has proven to work. Criminals are simply left in a cell to think about their errors or worse, executed in extreme cases of wrongdoing.

Now, if someone commits a crime in contrast to the bible's teachings and fails to display a repentant attitude, they were removed from among the congregation. 1 Tim 1:19, 20 shows this attitude and approach at work in congregations of old.

"God is a spirit, and those worshiping him must worship Jehovah with spirit and truth" (John 4:24). Jesus words always apply to us and these words show a very wise principal. Without spirit and truth, you cant worship Jehovah. It says one MUST worship with spirit and truth. Not on Wednesdays or when I wake up before work. Our lives must reflect this faith. We must work to SHOW this attitude.

Even the country we live in, the United States, realizes the importance of removing wrongdoers from among society via the court system, how much more so would we remove those hurting us spiritually and even at times, hurting our relationship with Jehovah?

"YOUR adversary, the Devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour [someone].(1 Pet 4:8) So we must always be aware of who surround ourselves with. Bad association is just as bad for us in the society we live around, as it is also damaging in a spiritual sense (1 Cor 15:33).

It comes down to how you view the bible. The BIBLE is the true word of Jehovah, and true followers do not worship a group, they worship Jehovah. Therefore true worshipers follow the bibles word over mans. They try to be around like minded ones, and the more they understand truth, the more then can see who these true worshipers are. Fortunately we have a creator that granted us free will. So each of us have the ability to choose for ourselves, what we will do with our lives. Even note that baptism is a PERSONAL decision. Not a group decision. Each person stands before Jehovah alone and is responsible for their actions.

So we have the ability to choose for ourselves based on information we find in the BIBLE. We can observe ways to improve our life. Paul wrote for us these principals (Reference Hebrews 13:7 and James 2:26. 7). These scriptures show us, that we follow people because they are leading by example, and we contemplate how their conduct or actions, we can learn from faithful examples in the bible and in real time around us. The REAL faith is that of example. Without this work, or the example set forth by others, there is no faith. Faith IS work. 2 Thess 3:10 even states, "If anyone does not want to work, neither let him eat.”

So lets try not to judge those among us as equal humans in any way that would overstep the bounds of another person's relationship to Jehovah in anyway. And we would all want to avoid those that would DAMAGE the relationship we have, and even I have with Jehovah. Jehovah gave humans the right to worship in a way they choose, as long as it falls under biblical principals.

No matter what you decided about this organization, remember that slander is. Jehovah may remember the words you say against faithful men of our time. Lets try and keep the Word of Jehovah in mind and not that of mans. (reference - John 8:31, 32)

May we strive to be up-building to those around us, giving them reason to change their ways and improve their life with the hope of what the bible truly talks about. Everlasting life (John 17:3)

As far as the original poster, I have notified the congregation about this post and comment and it will be appealed due to its bias state and conflict with Google's intended use for this review system.

Please do yourself a favor if you are thinking about joining this Organization. Visit one of the many Ex JW recovery sites. First ask yourself how come there are so many "recovery" sites for ex members? Please do research on what they actually believe and not what they spoon feed you at the door. They are a destructive cult that breaks up family's and prevents their own children from life saving medical treatment. Learn about mind control and high control organizations before joining. Ask them questions like:
"How do you view Ex members?"
    "How do you treat them?"
"If you had children that were Ex members would you shun them?"
